What’s New to See & Do
The area’s newest attraction is the StarLite of Daytona dining cruise. Passengers can board the StarLite Princess, an authentic paddlewheeler, to enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner and a leisurely cruise along the area’s scenic stretch of the Intracostal Waterway.
Arts & Cultural Gems
The Daytona Beach area is home to a bevy of cultural gems. The Museum of Arts and Sciences is located on a 90-acre Florida nature preserve and houses a new children’s science center, the largest collection of Cuban art outside of the island nation and a 13,000-year-old Giant Ground Sloth. The Smithsonian-affiliated museum also features permanent collections of colonial American art and furnishings, Chinese and African art, and a planetarium. Photography enthusiasts will love the acclaimed Southeast Museum of Photography, Florida’s only museum dedicated exclusively to photography.
